The PBPL context
From Saturnus to Pegasus.
This history belongs to the broader PBPL community. The archive distinguishes Pegasus cohorts from other PBPL programs; inclusion does not imply that every person was supervised by Pietro Musumeci.
Claudio Pellegrini arrives at UCLA. The early program develops photoinjectors and FEL research at Saturnus.
James Rosenzweig joins UCLA as the accelerator group grows.
FEL experiments, Neptune, and national-laboratory collaborations expand the program.
Musumeci returns to UCLA and develops the Pegasus program in ultrafast electron science and advanced beams.
